"President's Chair"

Description

Design drawing titled "President's Chair" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Arm chair has tall upholstered rectangular back with arched crest; shaped stiles beneath back; fully upholstered rectangular seat; single row of large metal tacks along upholstered edges; curved shaped arms with carved acanthus leaves and large scrolled handholds; curved arm supports; square legs with rings at top, carved acanthus leaves, molded rectangular blocks, and casters; and H-stretcher with square sides and carved scrolled middle stretcher. Back has enamelled crest with the initials "MBT" and the year 1900. Title and notation regarding crest are handwritten on drawing.
