Arm chair has tall upholstered rectangular back with arched crest; shaped stiles beneath back; fully upholstered rectangular seat; single row of large metal tacks along upholstered edges; curved shaped arms with carved acanthus leaves and large scrolled handholds; curved arm supports; square legs with carved acanthus leaves, rectangular blocks, and casters; and H-stretcher with square sides and carved scrolled middle stretcher. "Trace "C" for synagogue 6/7/60." it is assumed that this tracing done in 1960 is based on an A. H. Davenport Co. design such as CC010.001.006.089.003 made between 1880 and 1914.
