Side chair has tall caned back with oversized arched crest rail with carved scrolls, scrolls and center shell; conforming lower back rail; molded shaped stiles with carved scolls and foliage; rectangular stiles beneath back extending to raked rear legs; fully upholstered seat with curved lower edges and metal tack trim; cabriole front legs with cross-hatched carved pattern on knees and scrolled feet; straight rear stretcher; shaped side stretchers; and carved front stretcher with broken scroll arch.
