"Light Chair"

Description

Design drawing titled "Light Chair" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. William and Mary-style side chair has carved crest rail with double scrolls and foliage; stiles with vasiform, ring and ovoid turnings and rectangular blocks at rails; ball finials; rush seat; raked square rear legs; vasiform and ring turned front legs with square blocks at seat and stretchers; ovoid feet in front; rectangular side and rear stretchers; and curved front stretcher. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
