Side chair has tall upholstered rectangular back with large metal tacks along sides; ball finials atop square plinths; flat shaped arms with carved rosettes on ends; arm supports with acanthus-carved vasiform turning between rectangular blocks; deep upholstered rectangular seat with large metal tack trim; square stiles below back; straight square legs with carved square feet; rectangular rear and side stretchers; and large front stretcher with straight top and curving lower edge formed by scrolls, oval center medallion, and coffered panels.
