Design drawing titled "Chair for Hall" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. William and Mary-style arm chair has tall rectangular back; carved scrolled crest rail and lower back rail enclosing three turned spindles and two large scrolled and foliate-carved stiles; turned spiral twist outer stiles with turned finials above rectangular blocks; curved molded arms with scrolled handholds and continuous scrolled arm supports; loose upholstered cushion atop caned seat; rear legs with block and ovoid turnings and flared feet; front legs with ovoid turnings and large Flemish legs below; turned H-stretcher and rear stretcher; and large front stretcher with carved foliate scrolls. Title, design notes, "13936" and "Made in mahogany / for I. J. Hauck / Nov 27, 1911" are handwritten on drawing.
