Untitled scrapbook. Scrapbook has red fabric cover and is held together by twine laced through six eyelets. The number "5" is handwritten on spine. Scrapbook contains 48 pages, four of which are blank. The bulk of the materials are clippings from 19th century and 20th century periodicals, catalogs, and magazines, such as "Arts and Decoration," "House and Garden," "Country Life," and "The American Architect." The materials document a variety of furniture forms including beds, bureaus, dressing tables, high boys, and toilet glasses. Interiors of children's nurseries are also shown. One photograph depicting a period Jacobean bed has a price in British pounds written on the verso and "Model 4695" handwritten on the front. This number is within the range of 4600 to 4799 utilized by Irving & Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. for beds. However, it is not known at this time if they manufactured a bed based on this design.
