Label

One of many views related to the early United States and its history that appear in the online exhibit "Patriotic America."This plate shows Staughton's Baptist Church on Sampson Street in Philadelphia. It was designed by John Mills to resemble an amphitheater and dedicated in 1812. It has since been torn down. Ralph Stevenson and Williams also produced an almost identical view.
