One of many views related to the early United States and its history that appear in the online exhibit "Patriotic America."This Platter, its only known form, shows Troy, NY which is on the eastern side of the Hudson (River) seven miles north of Albany, New York. The city was laid out in 1787. James and Ralph Clews also made a view of this in their Hudson River Picturesque Views series.
