This is a perspective, graphite drawing on paper, depicting a wood dwelling. The dwelling is colonial style, with a center pathway leading to an arched door. There is a deck/balcony off the left side. The entire dwelling is surrounded by a manicured lawn, complete with shrubery and tall trees.

Andrews, Jones, Biscoe & Whitmore, Architects comprised of Robert Day Andrews (1857-1928), I. Howland Jones (1868-1959), Maurice B. Biscoe (1871- 1953), and John T. Whitmore (??-1943). It was in practice from 1924-1944, thereafter it became Andrews, Jones, Biscoe, and Goodell.
The firm began in 1885 when Andrews joined Herbert Jaques (1857-1916) in the firm Andrews and Jacques. In 1889, Augustus Neal Rantoul (1865-1934) joined as a partner, creating Andrews, Jaques, and Rantoul. After Jaques' death in 1916, Jones joined the firm, making the new firm Andrews, Rantoul, and Jones. After 1924, when Rantoul left the firm, it became Andrews, Jones, Biscoe, and Whitmore, and continued in operation until Whitmore's death in 1943. Thereafter, Edwin B. Goodell (1893-1971) joined the firm.
The firm is mostly known for public and commercial residences.
