The menu has lobster, English partridge, ices and assorted cakes. The Society officers are listed. A colonial sentry is between a medal and a peace pipe in the cover illustration. "The first Social Court was held at the residence of Deputy Governor-General Michael Myers Shoemaker, Cincinnati, December 19, 1895, to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the Great Swamp Fight." The quote is from the Society's "Second Annual Register," 1897, p. 30.
