Description

Sugar bowl with lid part of "Hampden" pattern dinner service for twelve. Designed by Christopher Dresser and produced by the Old Hall Earthenware Company, England. The sugar bowl is round with loop handles high on the body and a lid with loop knop. Light cream-colored body with aqua rims, decorated with a transfer-printed and overpainted pattern of flowers and geometric designs in aqua, blues, yellow, brown and black.
