Description

The guests dined on such dishes as grapefruit cocktail, filet of whitefish, spring lamb and assorted cakes. The presentation of the Knox Trophy and Medals given by the Society is included in the program. Tablets given by the Society to commemorate historic persons and sites are listed. Busts of John Adams were given to the Massachusetts State House and the Hall of Fame in New York. A photograph of the John Adams bust is opposite the title page. Text on the title page reads, "The 219th anniversary of the birth of Benjamin Franklin." The Society seal is on the front cover.
