"Mementos: Jewelry of Life and Love from Historic New England": One of the most important American metalsmiths working in the mid-century, Pearson helped found the Society of North American Goldsmiths. In the 1970s he moved from New York to Deer Isle, Maine, where he established the Pearson Design Studio. These earrings, attributed to Pearson based on their similarity to his early experiments with silver casting, belonged to his first wife, Joan.
