a) Brown silk satin lined and padded with wool; high neck; front hook and eye closure; darts; welted seams at back; natural waist; pleated skirt with 8 brown silk satin rosettes; hook and eye closure at right (waistband); gathered at center back; leg-o-mutton sleeves with piping and pleats at shoulder with 2 rows of tucks and ending at fitted wrist with 4 brown satin rosettes and 3 diagonal bands of welting; hook and eye closure at wrists. b) Front lapels extend halfway down skirt; 2 bands of satin welting; lined with white silk. c) Capelet with 2 bands of satin welting also lined in white silk.
