Description

Small, dark red purse with fold-over cover trimmed in silver with clasp with molded flower. Interior is lined with tan leather and fabric. Interior change purse with metal clasp. Wallet contains a small folded note, a small boot hook with blue ribbon, and a ring of copper. On the exterior is written "Hattie Malcolm" in black ink. Added later in pencil, "Harriet Chace / 1877-1882".
