Scrapbook -- Chair, Stool and Sofa Designs

Unbound scrapbook. Scrapbook has beige fabric back cover; binding is no longer intact and front cover is missing. Spine is detached and has following handwritten title: "S. Chairs / A. " / Stools / Sofa." There are approximately 200 pages, some of which are partially bound. Pages are extremely brittle and fragile. Scrapbook appears to be a continuation of CC011.007.003.001. Scrapbook includes photocopies of pencil sketches of a wide variety of seating furniture manufactured by Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Copies are extremely small with some measuring only 1.5 by 2 inches. Drawings are arranged in model number order for the most part and are glued to pages, often covering the entire page. Also included in the album is a full-scale pencil drawing of a Queen Anne-style mirror titled "Colonial Mirror / Duxbury / Mass." Digital images of a selection of items from the album are attached to this record.
