Description

These two overall pieces with four attached colorways and one attached paper label, represent the same scene. Two main places are separated by a scene presenting a house bordered by an alley of trees. One of these two patterns represents one side of Louisburg Square, on Beacon Hill, in Boston, Massachusetts. The other pattern is a small port, bordered by houses, to whom sailing ships are approaching; a sign on the street lamp indicates “Wayside inn”. This sample exists in five different colors.
