This file consists of five sketches rendered in pencil. Drawings depict seating furniture manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, or their successor Irving and Casson - A H. Davenport Co. Some drawings are in fragile condition. Types of furnishings shown include settles, arm chairs, side chairs and swivel chairs. Drawings contain notations that may include date, order number, model number and customer name. Named customers are: Earle Perry Charlton (Westport Harbor, MA); Mrs. Emilie L. Heine (Cincinnati, OH); C. A. Macgregor; and Henry Miller. Digital images of a selection of sketches from the file are attached to this record.
