Large bound photograph album possibly a family album of Chester and Eloise Smith of Waltham. 174 mostly black and white photographs from 1951-1952. Subjects include the summer vacation of Eloise Smith and Veronica Martowska to Vineyard Haven, MA. Mostly beach pictures with one showing Joseph Baldwin quahoging. Other pictures taken at 78 Hibiscus Avenue, Waltham, MA. These include parties with family and neighbors. Several pictures show the family dogs "Donnie and Cracker". There are also photographs from a vacation on Belgrade Lakes, Maine in Sept 1951 at the Crystal Spring Camps. Also a trip to Lisbon Falls, Maine. There are photographs of the Rock Garden in Waltham, baby pictures of Lillian Victoria Kimball with her father, grandfather and aunt ((Eloise Smith), other pictures of children, the wedding of Shirley and David Ream, and Thanksgiving at the home of Bess and George Ream at 56 hibiscus Avenue in Waltham (neighbors and possibly family?). An interesting picture of Bess and George Ream painting their house in September 1951. Album illustrates life in the early 1950s.
