Series XIV. Papers of Joseph Tucker (1821-1889), 1845-1871, includes correspondence to Captain Joseph Tucker from his sister Mary Tucker Rundlett, 1854; his wife Frances Lennox Tucker, 1845-1858; and his brother-in-law William P. Lennox, 1853-1861. Correspondence also includes four letters written by Joseph Tucker to his wife Frances ("Fanny") in 1854. A collection of miscellaneous papers includes letters written to Joseph and his brother Richard by various individuals related to the family's shipping business, dated 1845-1871. Authors of these letters are George Wood, David Stone, Packard Merrill, J. Homans, George A. Locke, C. C. & R. W. Fox, S. P. Baker, and William Hunger & Company. There are also two printed circulars. This series is arranged in two subseries.
