Description

Black-and-white photograph of neoclassical D-shaped server. Serving table has overhanging top with molded edge; central frieze which projects slightly; two shallow side drawers with branch veneer, oval brasses and bail handles; and six tapered reeded round legs with cuffs. Central frieze has fluting and carved wheat stalks and oval rosettes. Handwritten notes on page include: A. H. Davenport Co. detail number 3012, dimensions, and note on wood type.
