Description

Black-and-white photograph of Queen Anne-style arm and side chairs. Both chairs have shaped crest with carved scrolls; solid vasiform splat with carved volutes; molded stiles; conforming bottom back rail with carved ornaments; trapezoidal seat with over-the-rail upholstery; raked rear legs; cabriole legs with carved kneees and turned feet in front; and cowhorn stretcher. Armchair has curved shaped arms with curved arm supports. Handwritten notes on page include: wood type and A. H. Davenport Co. detail numbers "11231" and "11230."
