Black-and-white photograph of bureau and attached mirror. Rectangular bureau has overhanging top with projecting front corners; shallow backboard with concave corners; five drawers with bail handles in a two-over-three arrangement; rectangular panel between two top drawers with carved kylix and garland; straight skirt with molded edge; freestanding round columns with fluting and carved acanthus leaves at bottom between carved top and bottom front corner blocks; and short tapered fluted legs with brass caps and casters. Rectangular molded mirror frame has gently curved top with concave top corners and is attached to bureau by two fluted round columns with carved acanthus leaves at base, carved rectangular blocks and turned finials. Handwritten notes on page include wood type, dimensions and A. H. Davenport Co. detail number 12338.
