Photo album titled "Small Tables 78." Title is hand printed on a round paper label affixed to spine; volume number is also printed on a paper label affixed to spine. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads; one brad is missing. Album has 104 olive green pages; 31 of the pages are blank. Album contains 73 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of small tables manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Order number and year are displayed in some photographs. No customer names are noted; however, some clients were identified by cross referencing order numbers and years to other items in the collection where the customer name is known. Identified customers include: Frank E. Anderson (Houston, TX); George F. Booth (Worcester, MA); Charles Austin Buck (Bethlehem, MA): Nelllie P. Carter (Boston, MA); M. J. Curran; Mrs. A. E. Davis (Dover, MA); Elks Club (Cambridge, MA); F. G. Jackson; Library Bureau (Boston, MA); Henry Miller; E. Parmalee Prentice (Williamstown, MA); F. M. Sackett (Louisville, KY); F. H. Stuart (Newton Centre, MA); and Ernest Marland Whitworth (Ponca City, OK).
This album is related to a series of photograph albums in CC010. There was no volume 78 in that sequence; however, The Strong Museum (the former owner of the albums in CC010) assigned the number 78 to a volume lacking its number. This album is the true volume 78 per the arrangement of the compilers of the albums.
