Pewter gill (1/2 pt.) measure of small baluster shape and straight collar with run-to-shoulder handle terminating in ball, incised band to body, stamped marks on rim, including "GILL" and measure numbering.

Inscription

The rim is impressed with the hallmarks, ""GILL""; assorted numbering marks (ex. No. 586); There is a paper label on the bottom underside on which is handwritten: ""1740 to 1820/Belfast/7/6."" (Belfast is indistinct- as are the hallmarks)
