Description

The plate is of circular form with a dished rim and with a slightly scalloped edge. It is printed in blue, with a view of Wellcombe Castle; also a river in the foreground with a band of "bound reeding" and a wide floral and grape cluster border and a band of "cable" at the edge.

Impressed on the bottom on two concentric rings with an eagle at the center is: Semi China/E. Wood & Son's Burslem Warrented. Printed on the botton in a ribbon is: Welcome Warwickshire .
