Folder 4
GUSN-326957
This folder contains sixty-nine samples of hand-painted designs for fabric patterns. Designs range in size but are all mounted on blank panels of uniform large-format cardstock. Patterns include vibrantly colored geometric shapes, stripes, abstract floral patterns, and traditional floral designs with fine lines and tiny dot details. Some cardstock panels are hand-labeled on the reverse side with "Belle McClintock ##." One beautifully intricate 3-color design labeled "Design for fruit goods Kettelle School of Design," possibly referring to The Kettelle School of Arts and Industries, 899 Boylston Street, Boston, Mass., a school for art instructors.
