Description

Oval wooden bandbox (A) and lid (B). Bandbox and lid are covered with wallpaper with the "Toast to the Ladies" motif depicting a gentleman sitting betwen two women. Block printed in pink, white and green varnish on gray background. Box and lid are lined with various newspapers dated 1851. Box has string attached for carrying.

Box has separated from its bottom and lid has separated from rim.
