Oval bandbox and lid. Bandbox (A) and lid (B) are covered with paper featuring all-over arabesque-type motifs in rust, blue and green on a beige ground. Interior of bandbox is lined with unidentified newspaper dated 1847. Interior of lid is lined with "Youth's Penny Gazette" dated August 14, 1850.
