Description

Set of twenty-seven architectural drawings of house for Arthur H. Shaw in Bourne, Massachusetts (commission #478) including ten elevations, ten plans, one plot plan, and six details. No drawings are dated or signed. Some drawings depict an alternate design that was not built.

Drawings depict a two-story Modern house with a flat roof, an exterior circular staircase, and a stucco on metal lath exterior. House has lounge with fireplace, music room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, lavatory, servant's's room and bathroom, three bedrooms, dressing room, three bathrooms, and an upper level deck. A one-car garage is on the basement level.
