Rocking chair. Various woods, paint. Bowed rectangular rail with cut corners over seven tapering bowed spindles and conforming slats. Curved arms with scrolled holdholds and bamboo turned supports. Rounded front plank seat. Bamboo turned legs and box stretchers. Simple rockers. All plainted yellow. Crest rail panel stenciled with basket of fruit flanked by quatrefoil motifs. Painted decoration includes copper, silver and gold tones and outlined in gold and black striping. Spindles and bamboo banding painted black.
