The two rectangular uprights are joined by two conforming stretchers or rails. There are two cagelille spools comprised of thin circular wood ends and 8 rod-turned spindles, one upright ending in an "X" form base. The second upright is rounded at the end (12" shorter than the other). All are painted a medium green. The carved pins hold the reels in place.
