Fan: narrow carved and pierced ivory sticks; silver paper leaf, decoupe border; painted with vignette of one woman, two men (one plays fiddle), with view of castle; basket of flowers and fruits on sides; border with frame of pink and blue scrolls and flowers; reverse painted with pink rose and rosebud; Box: wooden, covered with black paper, two metal latches; lined with large scale floral paper.
