Earthenware plate with blue-gray transfer-printed pattern "Venus" with select elements overglazed in red and green. Border of scrolls on horizontal striped ground. Central scene of canal framed by green arching trees with figures on left bank and large urn on right. Swans swim in the foreground, large building or temple and mountains in distance.
