Description

Light blue iridescent taffeta; bateau neckline edged w/ lace. Cap sleeves w/ piped arm's eye. Pointed front & back; boned & lined w/ linen. Hand-sewn eyes at center back for laced closure. Skirt has cotton waistband w/ hook & eye closure; box pleats at front. Cartridge pleats & crinoline at back for fullness. Deep hem stiffened w/ crinoline & edged w/ olive silk tape; pocket on right side. Dress was altered; seams on bodice were let out & fabric added under arm's eye; skirt altered at waist.
