Description

One of seven pieces of material from the dress worn by Prudence Jenkins at her wedding to Dr. John Chace in December, 1778. The cloth was bought in England and cost one guinea a yard. It is a brocade fabric with bright green, brown, cerise, yellow, and white designs on a beige background.
