Description

Ivory silk satin with pearls and lace; bodice-standing band collar and yoke of cream shirred silk gauze with shirred ruffle and row of pearls around yoke; lace rosette with wire support at back of collar; front panel with epaulettes, lace and pearl trim, and 2 large circles of pearls, has hook and eye closure at left side; bodice has fulness at bust with boned inner "vest"; leg of nutton sleeves, puffed at shoulder and shirred along seam to cuffs, cuffs are angled, trimmed with 2 rows of pearls, and lace ruffle; satin waistband with large self-bow on left; boned; lined with cream taffeta; skirt b) matching skirt; full train; wide panels of lace draped across skirt front; cream satin ribbons with orange blossoms (ribbons are very long and have knots where roses or flowers were).
