Cream silk damask dress woven with geometric pattern of squares with diamonds in center; cream silk used on the bodice and also draped diagonally across front and attached at back of skirt. Bodice has squared neckline with blue taffeta collar with organdie. Fitted, elbow length sleeves with lace ruffle and ruching of cream silk damask with blue taffeta lining. Cuffs, neckline (right side only) and cream damask panels on skirt decorated with appliqued border of embroidered flowers in pink, yellow and red (satin stitch; silk threads). Bodice is boned; hook and eye closure; lined with cotton; inner waist with hook and eye; drawstring neckline. Skirt is mostly blue taffeta with ruffles from waist to hem; hook and eye. Overlapping closure at left; partial lining of cotton; deep hem of windowpane crinoline with lace dust ruffle. Three pairs of cotton twill tape ties for bustle attached to lining.
