Description

FAN (A): Red carved and pierced wooden sticks; paper leaf, one side painted with three women and one man playing flute, in 18th Century costume, other side painted with women, cherubs[?], one woman in chariot drawn by peacock; sticks have gold and silver inlay. BOX (B): White with stripes and vermiculate bands; cardboard; 12 1/4" long.
