Bifold trefoil-shaped huswife / needle case made from red velvet lined with tan-colored silk. The exterior is decorated with three-dimensional floral and bird forms made from opaque white and clear glass beads. The edges of the huswife are decorated with looping beaded fringe.

Made by an unidentified Haudenosaunee artist, likely Tuscarora. Haudenosaunee (Mohawk, Onondaga, Oneida, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora peoples comprising the historic Six Nations Confederacy or Iroquois League) artists combined their skills in traditional beading with contemporary fashions to create souvenirs for sale at Niagara Falls and other tourist destinations.Haudenosaunee beading is still done today. Creating these souvenirs helped perpetuate vital Native cultural heritage.
