Penciled script on reverse, upper left: ""Elm Knoll Andover 68 Phillips Street/ House of Daniel A. Poor when he built in 1763/ This was drawn about 1825 by Emily E. Poor"" Typed label w/ info. on Poor and Dr. James T/ Thacher on reverse, center. It reads: ""Old house built by Daniel Poor of Andover in 1763/ Daniel Poor was among the Minute men under command of Capt. Thomas Poor/ in Col. James Frye's Regiment/ He was at Bunker Hill in Capt. Benj. Farnums Company/ He was in the army of Revolution seven years."" Followed by lengthy info. on Thacher.
