Description

Earthenware plate with green transfer-print border and central red transfer-print landscape in the "Caledonia" pattern. The pattern depicts a man in kilt and plumed hat blowing a horn while holding on rifle. Another man, raising his hat, and leaping stags are in the near distance, The border pattern is a repeating scene of Scottish hunters in kilts alternating with a scroll and flower figure.
