Wrought iron box with cap-type flange over jamb edge of door. Single dedbolt 1" x 2" x 1" is key-operated from both sides. Partial cover plate on back, over key area only. Iron works and key. Pattern flange (which discriminates between various keys) is missing, allowing any key to operate lock. Painted black.
