Description

Covered basket with a pair of crossed, hoop handles. Made from ash splints woven in a wicker-weave pattern on the upper body and lid, with thicker weavers on the lower body. Handles are splint-wrapped alternating indigo and brown-colored splints. Alternating lid weavers are dyed indigo while the body weavers are swabbed indigo. The rim is splint, single lashed.
