Description

Small wood splint sewing basket. Basket base and lower body is square, mid-body is stepped and upper body round. Sides constructed with narrow weavers with bands of fancy work (curled splints). The rim is reinforced with a carved hoop. Attached to the inside rim are four small hexagon weave containers. One round side handle is partially broken, a second opposing handle is missing.
