Purple taffeta, full length; rounded collar & capelet tying at throat with ribbon; slits for hands concealed under pointed edge flap; triangular quilting down center front and at collar and capelet; piping around same and flaps; border piping above hem; fully lined with yellow silk; lining under collar, capelet, flaps; interlining of white wool; gathered inside at waist with purple ribbon drawstring.
