Purple leg o'mutton sleeves with cuffs trimmed with piping and 3 self-covered buttons on scalloped edgess. V-pointed front with pleated bands attached from shoulder to waist. Rosette at shoulder. Fullness all around. Waistband with hook and eye closure with self belt. Deep ruffle of lighter purple taffeta. Hem padded with wool. Entire dress lined with glazed cotton.
