Description

Drum-shaped porcelain teapot (a) and lid (b) with berry knop. Teapot has stepped spout with gilt decoration, double twisted handle. Enamel decoration of scrolled medallions with alternating scenes of 1) birds and flowers and 2) people engaged in activities. Medallions surrounded by tendrils, flowers, and butterflies on gold ground.
