Fan (A): black lacquered wooden sticks and guards painted with gold branches; leaf of black feathers; brass rivet, mother of pearl washers. Box (B) is black lacquered and hinged. Chinoiserie scene painted on lid in gold. Pink floral paper lining with bud and floral spray painted inside lid; hook clasp.
